WILLIAMSON COUNTY - Crappie USA, "America's Premier National Crappie Fishing Tournament Organization," will hit the waters of Lake of Egypt for a two-day super event March 16-17.
This is the opportunity for anglers to compete for a guaranteed $10,000-plus in prizes, as well as a chance to advance to the 2018 Cabela's Crappie USA Classic.
The Classic event will be Oct. 3--6 on Lake Cumberland at Somerset, Kentucky.
A pre-tournament seminar is scheduled for Thursday evening, March 15 at The Pavilion in Marion. Sign up will begin at 5 p.m. with the meeting and a national sponsor field test product drawing starting at 7 p.m. This seminar is open to the public.

The tournament weigh-in will be held on Friday and Saturday, March 16 and 17 at Pyramid Acres Marina, 12057 Marina Road, Marion, beginning at 3 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity for non-competitors to come and learn how the big ones are caught.

Teams may also enter at the pre-tournament seminar on Thursday night (March 15) or call (502) 384-5924. All late entries will be subject to a $25 late fee.
