Harrisburg native Isaac Ingram and Alexis Robersonhave been named the Missouri Valley Conference Field Athletes of the Week, the Valley announced Tuesday. Ingram jumped to No. 14 in the NCAA in the weight throw after he recorded a season-best at the Illini Open, while Roberson moved up to No. 15 nationally with her PR in the weight throw at the Illini Open on Jan. 13.

Alexis Roberson set a personal-best in the weight throw at the Illini Open to win her first event title of the season. Roberson's winning toss of 66'-3" (20.19m) not only marked the second-straight meet in which she has set a PR, but it ranks her 15th nationally in the event and is the top mark in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Isaac Ingram won the weight throw for the second-straight meet Saturday at the Illini Open with a season-best toss. Ingram recorded his best mark of season Saturday with a winning-toss of 68'-9.75" (20.97m). The Harrisburg native ranks 14th nationally in the event, and first in the Missouri Valley Conference.
