HARRISBURG -- The Marion High School girls cross country team won the Class AA division at the Harrisburg Invitational on Wednesday.
Marion had 24 points in the division to beat out Herrin (32) with Mt. Vernon and Centralia bringing just four runners.
Marion's runners were Quincy Gordon (21:36), Levi Basi (22:22), Marissa Basi (22:25), McKenzie Miller (23:04), Tamara Keene (24:19) and Kayla Keene (26:08).
Marion is scheduled to run at Centralia on Saturday, then host the South Seven Conference meet next Thursday.
