CARBONDALE -- Marion's Isaac Hammet and Dennis Johnson advanced from the Carbondale 2A Regional as individuals on Tuesday.
Hammet shot an 82 and Johnson shot an 83 in the postseason tournament at Hickory Ridge.
Carbondale won with a 311 total and advanced as a team to sectionals along with Benton (315) and Massac County (316).
Marion placed seventh out of 10 teams with a 349.
Mt. Vernon's Zach Williams was the medalist with a 70.
The sectional round will be Monday in Salem.
