Prep Golf: Herrin handles Harrisburg, Eldorado on home course

Eldorado got a 42 from Noah Smith, but the Eagles fell to Herrin 158-186 in a match at Pine Lakes Golf Course Monday afternoon.
The match also included Harrisburg and Cobden, but neither had enough for a team score.
In addition to Smith's 42, Braden Unthank fired a 45 for the Eagles and Brandon Coyle shot a 48. The Eagles' fourth score came compliments of Ely Boulds' 51.
Kaiden Lloyd (59) and Austin Willis (60) also played for Eldorado.
Camden Schiff had a 47 for Harrisburg, while Javier Beal shot a 51 and Andrew Bittle finished with a 52.
Herrin's Josh Green and Logan Baggett each shot a pair of 39's to take medalist honors. Drew Ringle, Corbin Preston and Logan Craft all shot a 40.
Cobden was led by a 51 from Christian Goins and a 60 from Alex Kinsey.
On the girls' side at Herrin,The host Tigers won over Eldorado and Harrisburg.
Herrin shot a 203, followed by a 211 from Eldorado and a 224 from Harrisburg.
For the Eagles, Ashlyn Sizemore fired a 48, while Derian Corn finished with a 50. Emma Wargel followed with a 55, while Chloe Hopkins (58) and Hannah Clark (68) rounded out scores for the Eagles.
Harrisburg was led by a 46 from Gabby Adams, while Alli Ferrell finished with a 58 and Annabella Robinson carded a 59. Madeline DeNeal tacked on a 61 to round out scores for the Bulldogs.
