MARION -- Amelia Browning hit a grand slam after hitting a two-run double as the Marion Junior High School softball team routed Eldorado, 15-0 in five innings, Wednesday in a semifinal game at the SIJHSAA Class L Marion Regional.
MJHS (21-1) now advances to Friday's championship game against Massac County. Game time is 4 p.m. at the Crisp Sports Complex.
Browning had three hits and was a triple away from the cycle.
Jerzy Bittle had three hits, Karris Rhine had two hits and Baylee Kelley had two hits and an RBI in the win.
Cam Harre tossed a three-hitter with six strikeouts in the circle.
