MARION -- Chase Austin had three hits and drove in three runs to lead the Marion Junior High School baseball team to a 9-2 win over Eldorado in a semifinal game of the SIJHSAA Class L Marion Regional on Wednesday.

MJHS (21-0) moves into Friday's 4 p.m. championship game against Harrisburg at the Crisp Sports Complex.

Austin singled in a run in the first inning, when the Wildcats rallied with two outs starting with a hit by Mason Gooch. Austin later hit a two-run double in the fourth.

Trace Bittle, who reached on an error and scored in the first-inning rally, singled in the third inning and scored on a double by Karsten Stotlar.

Cole Bundren singled for the first of his three hits in the third inning. He also singled and scored in the fifth and ripped an RBI double in the sixth.

Trevor Jackson added two hits and Nehemiah Goodman pitched four innings for the win.

Goodman struck out five and gave up three hits and two runs. Devyn Wright pitched three innings of scoreless relief with four strikeouts.
