VIENNA -- The Marion Junior High School softball team remained undefeated and collected some hardware Saturday with a pair of wins at Vienna's tournament.

The Lady Wildcats are now 13-0 after beating Harrisburg, 10-0, and holding off Massac County, 3-2.

Baylee Kelley's two-run triple in the first inning got Marion off and running against Harrisburg. Kelley then doubled in two more runs during a seven-run rally in the second and later singled to get close to the cycle -- but never got a fourth at-bat as she was on deck when the game ended in the fifth.

Karris Rhine homered in the second-inning rally and Amelia Browning had two hits in the rout.

Then against Massac, MJHS rallied with runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to pull out the victory.

Jerzy Bittle doubled and scored in the fourth and drove in a run in the fifth. Addi Wall reached with a bunt single and scored on a groundout by Bailey Long for the eventual winning run in the sixth.
