WEST FRANKFORT -- The Marion Junior High School softball team improved to 10-0 with an 11-5 win over West Frankfort on Thursday.
Jerzy Bittle had three hits, including a two-run triple, and Amelia Browning had three hits, scored three times and drove in a run. Karris Rhine had two hits, Bailey Long and Presley Barnett both drove in two runs and Camryn Harre got the win in the circle.
Marion plays Saturday at a tournament in Vienna.
