MARION -- The second annual Southern Illinois Select All-Star Softball Game was held Tuesday night at Rent One Park and the Blue team rolled to a 16-6 win in the nine-inning affair over the Black team but a good time was enjoyed by all.
Marion's Morgan Dodd and Kaylee Evans were opponents with Dodd on the Blue team and Evans on the Black squad. Marion's Hannah Nalley also played on the Blue team.
The game is put together by the Amateur Softball Association and the Southern Illinois Umpires Association. A scholarship was also donated by Pepsi MidAmerica.
