Eight Harrisburg wrestlers take home All-South, All-Conference honors

Five Harrisburg wrestlers were named All-South at season ends and those five, Landon Hicks, Kyle Cavender, Kody Cavender, Ryan Ragsdale and Chase McDaniel joined three others that were named to the Southern Illinois River-to-River, Ohio Division All-Conference Team.
Landon Hicks (120 pounds) had 32 wins this season and was a regional champ, while Kyle Cavender (126) had 32 wins and a regional championship as well.
Kody Cavender (132) was Harrisburg's lone state qualifier. The sophomore had 31 wins and was a regional champ.
Ryan Ragsdale (182) had 28 wins and a regional championship, while Chase McDaniel had 33 wins and a regional championship. McDaniel will be attending the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire on a wrestling scholarship.
Jimmy Hicks (145), Abraham McClelland (152) and Michael Jaster (160)were the three others that were named to All-Conference for Harrisburg.
