Though the Rangers will not be participating in the IHSA Class 3A State competition, they will still be represented by two senior leaders.
Derek Oxford and Timmy Henson both scored enough points in the 3-point tournament to advance into the State tournament which will take place on Friday afternoon before the semi-final games.
Oxford--having already come out in first place at the regional 3-point tournament with 11 of 15 baskets--repeated his performance on Friday night and again drained 11 of 15 baskets to take first place again.
Henson also repeated his performance at regionals, scoring 9 baskets and taking second place in the competition.
