Q. How long have you lived in Harrisburg?
I've lived in Harrisburg most of my life. I was married and lived in Galatia for a while, but I've lived here most of the time.
Q. Do you raise a garden?
This is the first year we didn't raise a garden, just due to age. My husband's 93 and I'm 83.
Q. Are you looking forward to cooler temperatures in the fall?
Yes, and then I'll look forward to warm temperatures next year.
Q. What is your favorite childhood memory?
Probably graduating from Malan Junior High School. At that age, you had a real sense of accomplishment when you realized you were going on to high school.
Q. What is the greatest invention during your lifetime?
All the advances in medicine that have been developed.
