Charles Victor Connor, 82, of Fort Myers, Fla., died at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Palm Terrace Nursing Home, Clewiston, Fla.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hammonds Cemetery, Buckner, with Pastor Kurt Sanders officiating.

Mr. Connor was born on Dec. 12, 1927, in Benton, the son of John Clyde Connor and Nellie Blanche (Sears) Connor.

Charles was a retired electronics technician, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Presbyterian Church, North Fort Myers, Fla.

Surviving relatives include a daughter, Schelly Cuvar and husband, Dennis, Granite City; three grandchildren, Shannon, Amanda Milsap and Benjamin Cuvar, all of Granite City; and several nieces and nephews.
 
Mr. Connor was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gladys Seavers; and one brother, Vernon Connor.
