Nancy Sue Greenwood was surrounded by family at home when she went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher with the Rev. Kurt Jensen officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TIP Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 23, 1940, to Wanda and Lawrence Saltsman of Bulknap, and they preceded her in death.
She married Richard Greenwood of Mulkeytown, and he preceded her in death.
They had two children, Scott and Janet Greenwood of DuQuoin, and Julie and Scott Burkitt of Mulkeytown. Her grandchildren are Rachel and Caleb Greenwood, and Nathan and Leanna Burkitt.
She was a member of the Mulkeytown Christian Church and loved the Lord dearly.
Nancy was a homemaker, a loving mother, a good friend and a wonderful “Nanny” to her grandchildren.
