Glenna Mae Bollinger, 97, of Ellis Grove, Illinois, passed away at 2:42 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois.

She was born to the late Stephen V. and Grace N. (nee Leavitt) Dreczka on May 15, 1923 in Ellis Grove.

Glenna married Oliver J. Bollinger on Nov. 5, 1949 in Centralia, Illinois; he preceded her in death on April 24, 1981.

She worked in the press room at World Color Press for 20 years.

Glenna was a member of First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove. She enjoyed going to church and shopping.

She is survived by one son, Garry Monroney of Ellis Grove; a stepdaughter, Geneva (George) Wills of Pontotoc, Mississippi; one grandchild, Cindy (Tim) Copple of Ellis Grove; two step-grandchildren, Gina Wills and Geri (Blake) McDaniel; two great-grandchildren, Ethan (Michaela) Copple and Jacob Copple; four step-great-grandchildren, Samantha Copple, Dillon Copple, Randon McDaniel and Ryland McDaniel; one great-great-grandchild, Landyn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law Donna Monroney; two brothers, Florissent and Virgil Dreczka; and three sisters, Natellia Blind, Violet Fink and Bessie "Betty" Eggemeyer.

It was Glenna's wish to be cremated. A private graveside service will be held at Ellis Grove City Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Glenna's memory to First Baptist Church in Ellis Grove or Ellis Grove City Cemetery; memorials are being accepted at the Pechacek Funeral Homes in Chester.
