Charles Roald (Chuck) Moore, 73, died at home in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, from complications from myelodysplastic syndrome.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and sons, Stephen (Wendy) of Dallas, and David (Ceci) of Seattle; grandson, Thomas of Seattle; sister, Kathy (Gef Farmer) of Carrollton, Texas; brother Tom (Terry) of Miami; his aunt, Nell Perry of Eldorado; his sister-in-law, Dianna Woods (Michael) of Mount Vernon, Texas; nieces and nephews; cousins; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roald Amundsen (Rollie) and Ethel Moore, and his brother David.
Chuck was a member of the Class of 1964 at Harrisburg Township High School.
A celebration of Chuck's life will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the First Unitarian Church of Dallas. The service will be livestreamed on the church website, www.dallasuu.org/live.
