Linda Nall Asa Hill, 97, went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 10, 2019.
Linda was born Aug. 26, 1922 in Paducah, Kentucky. In 1946 she was married to Wilford P. Asa, a World War I veteran and longtime pharmacist until he passed away in 1978.
In 1980, Linda was married to John H. Hill. John was a World War II veteran and a jeweler in Harrisburg until he passed away in 2014.
Linda was also preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie V. Nall and Ila M. Nall; her sister Ann E. Nall, and step-grandchild Wendy L. Cordray.
Linda is survived by two sons, William P. Asa (Jane) and Robert L. Asa (Ellen); stepdaughter, Josette Hill Blackman (Greg); granddaughters, Angela Asa (great-granddaughter Lila Guerra) and Andrea Asa Sonnenberg (Walter) (great-grandsons Isaiah, Will, and Noel Sonnenberg); nieces, Susan Wallace, Angela Wallace, and Nancy Asa Johnson (Zarl); nephews Bill Wallace (Mary), Douglas Wallace (Arla), and Kevin Asa (Pam).
Linda is also survived by stepgrandchildren, Trishalana Ford (Jeremy), Christen Ferrer, Stephanie Blackman-Buchert (Thiago), Greg Cordray (Heidi), Michelle Fauquher (Dan), David Cordray (Kim), Jeremy Cordray (Amie), Samantha Fallowfield, Kimberly Katterhenry, Steve Katterhenry, Connie Krull (Ron), and John Echimovich (Dana); plus many step great-grandchildren and step great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Linda Nall Asa Hill will begin at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Dr. Douglas Low will officiate and burial will follow in Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery at Benton.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg.
Memorial contributions in Linda's honor may be made to the McCracken County Humane Society and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
