Willa Ree Cartwright, age 84, of San Antonio, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on Sept. 25, 2019.
She is survived by her three children, Ben Cartwright of Mayfield, Kentucky, Theriesa (Bart) Bloemhard of San Antonio and William (Libbi) Cartwright of Sea Crest, Florida; a sister, Wanda Hawkins of Mayfield, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William E. Cartwright, and her parents, Mate and Lurley Carr.
A funeral service will begin at noon on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at Byrn Funeral Home, 1020 Paris Road, in Mayfield, Kentucky. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 11 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Mayfield.
