Georgia Lodema Lynn, 92, of Eldorado, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Wabash Christian Retirement Home in Carmi.
She was born in Eldorado on March 25, 1927 to the late Avery and Lottie Mae (Leitch) Hedger. She worked at the Egyptian Health Department, where she retired.
Surviving is her daughter-in-law Barbara Lynn of DeKalb, and a brother Frank "Bud" (Phyllis) Hedger of Wood River. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews and wonderful neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Robert Lynn of McLeansboro; a son, Phillip; four brothers, David, William, Avery "Eugene" and J.C.; and two sisters, Jessie Fleigher and Frankie Zetts.
Graveside services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Palestine No. 2 Cemetery near Omaha. The Rev. Mike Fields will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
Memorials may be made to the Wabash Christian Center and may be left at the funeral home.
