Winnie Craig, 88, of Stonefort, died at 12:44 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019 at Helia Healthcare in Herrin.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2019 at Bolton-Trammell Cemetery in Stonefort. There will be no visitation. All family and friends should go directly to the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bolton-Trammell Cemetery. Mail them to Felty Funeral Home, 410 Oak St., Carrier Mills, IL 62917, who is in charge of arrangements.
Winnie was born on Jan. 8, 1931 in Ravenna, Kentucky to the late Rev. Floyd R. and Marjorie (Jordan) Harrawood.
She met the love of her life, William Edward Craig, on Oct. 30, 1950, and married him on April 17, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2010.
She attended the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church.
Winnie is survived by her daughter, Jacquie Craig of Stonefort; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Craig of Stonefort; granddaughter, Nikki (Jody) Betz of Stonefort; grandson Ryan (April) Craig of Harrisburg; grandchildren Blain and Breezy Betz, both of Stonefort, Ellison Craig of Harrisburg and soon to be Emmett Dane Craig of Harrisburg; her "other" daughter, Arla Mitchell of Benton, Kentucky; lifelong friends, Ruth Miller of Harrisburg and Angela Lay of Stonefort; caregiver Pam Dillman and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Winnie was preceded in death by her husband, William Craig; son Floyd William "Butch" Craig; four sisters, Ren Hester, Eileen Cable, Ruth Rickman and Wanda Wallace; and four brothers, Floyd Jr., Kenneth, John and William Harrawood.
