David Lindell Deputy, formerly of Harrisburg

David Lindell Deputy, 72, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019 at Signature Health Center in Clarksville.

David was born on Nov. 24, 1946 in Metropolis, the son of John D. and Marian (Lewis) Deputy.

He is survived by two children, Tracy (Scott) Monferdini of Kankakee and Eric Deputy of Bonaire, Georgia; four grandchildren, Ashleigh, Shelby and Ryan Monferdini and Tyler Deputy; a sister, Diane (Stephen) Fulbright; a niece, Mesha (Sean) Averitt and their children Madison and Patrick, all of Clarksville, Tennessee; a nephew, Wade (Beth) Fulbright and their daughter, Jillian, of Harrisburg; and his cousin George Wade (Janie) Morris and family.

David graduated from Harrisburg High School in 1964 where he was active in football, thespians and Key Club.

He graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in 1968 and spent the majority of his professional career in sales management in the Chicago area.

A private family graveside service was held Saturday, Feb. 24, 2019 in Odd Fellow Cemetery in Golconda with Ray Wallace officiating. Reed Funeral Chapel assisted the family with the services.
