Marie Beatrice Bennett, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 31, 2018.
Marie was born on June 10, 1926 in Eldorado to Frank and Myrtle Feuquay. She married Roy Bennett on Oct. 25, 1947.
Marie was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a devoted child of God. She was a member of the Mizpah General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Rita West of Marion; grandson, Chris (Laura) Spurlock and their two sons, Kodey and Kaleb Costello of Thompsonville; granddaughter, Nicole (Phillip) Rhyne Fox of Evansville, Indiana; one great-grandson Damian Rhyne and his daughter Adahlia Rhyne; and two great-granddaughters, Taylor and Quynci Rhyne.
She is also survived by her brother Charles (Mia) Feuquay of Florida; a sister-in-law Faye Feuquay of West Frankfort; niece Saundra (Marty) Patchett and their family in Sesser; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two great-grandsons, Derek Wade and James David; brothers Lester (Iris) Feuquay, Lewis, James and George; sister Mable Davis; and special nephew Martin Eugene Feuquay.
Funeral services for Marie will begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019 at the Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado. Burial will be in Raleigh Masonic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
