ELDORADO -- Etsel Harrawood, 86, passed away Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017, at his home in Eldorado. He was born July 3, 1931, son of the late Nellie (Shelton) and Arthur Harrawood.
Mr. Harrawood was employed for many years at Pool Pontiac in Harrisburg as parts manager. After his retirement, he stayed busy helping his family with various projects.
Survivors include three daughters, Rhonda (Eric) Travelstead and Barbara (Richard) Woolard of Eldorado and Janice Oliver of Topeka, Indiana; son, Kenny (Beverly) Harrawood of Eldorado; and grandchildren, Mandy Monti of Benton, Erica Hatchett and Allison (Jeremy) Weaver of Marion, Brian (Brittney) Travelstead of Carbondale, Michael Harrawood, Neal Woolard and Lindsay (Lloyd) Neafus of Eldorado and Rodney (Nicole) Oliver and Brandi (Joe) Drake of Topeka, Indiana.
Other survivors include his great-grandchildren, Gabe Price, Katie and Julius Hatchett, Gwen and Teddy Weaver, CoCo McQuirty, Audrey Travelstead, Ben and Gracie Harrawood, Payton, Colton, Parker and Kadence Oliver, Jared (Megan), Isaac and Jayni Lu Drake; great-great-granddaughter, Melody Drake; sister, Betty Pool; and two brothers, Ronnie and Raymond Harrawood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gaytha Harrawood; son-in-law, Rod Oliver; sisters, Virginia Harrawood, Jane Martin and June Fulkerson; and brother, Bob Harrawood.
As per his wishes, private family services will be conducted.
Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado is in charge of arrangements.
