Sharon Ramsey of Chester

Sharon A. Ramsey, 70, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 7:30 a.m, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, Illinois.
She was born to the late George E. Sr. and Sylvia A. (nee Neihouse) Rader on April 14, 1947 in Red Bud, Illinois.
Sharon married Darrel L. Ramsey on August 31, 1968 in Chester, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 8, 2007.
She was a member of Ebenezer Church in Rockwood, Illinois and Eagles Auxiliary.
Sharon was a book binder at Spartan Printing and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters: Donna Dobbs, Chester, and Debbie (Jeff) Werner, Uniontown, Mo.; four siblings: Russell (Linda) Rader, Chester; George E. Rader, Jr., Vicksburg, Miss.; Wanda (Gary) Thornton, Marissa; Della (Ed) Word, Vicksburg, Miss.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren: Brooke Whitney, Courtney Dobbs, Ashley Dobbs, Miranda Werner, Makara Werner and the first great-grandson: Daniel Moore (due in March).
Sharon was preceded in death by parents, her husband, Darrel Ramsey, two brothers - Wib Rader and Charles Rader - and two sisters -- Sandra Thomas and June Marie Rader.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois, with The Rev. Cecil Dunning officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Chester
Visitation will held Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. -- 11:00 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home in Chester.
