ELDORADO -- Katherine J. Modglin, 84, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017, in Ferrell Hospital.
She was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Eldorado to the late Paul and Mary (Joo) Hollo.
Katherine was a homemaker and member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado, St. Mary's Alter Society and the Eldorado American Legion Auxiliary.
On Jan. 16, 1951, she married Harry Modglin, and he preceded her in death on July 13, 2009.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Dennis) Rider of Eldorado; two grandchildren, Justin Ego of Palmetto, Florida, and Alex (Leslie) Ego of Eldorado; and two great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Paxton Ego.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Hollo; two half brothers, Pat and Mike Vargo; and half sister, Mary Vargo Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 24, in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at Watson Funeral Home in Eldorado.
