BENTON -- David Alan Mabry, 47, passed away at 7:22 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, in an automobile accident near Bonnie.

Private family services will be Thursday, March 30. Cremation will be accorded.

David was born Sept. 23, 1969, in Benton, the son of Billy C. and Patsy (Howdeshell) Mabry.

He married the former Sandy Thatcher on Nov. 23, 2003, and she survives.

David was baptized at a young age at Church of God in Bradley.

He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and drawing. He also enjoyed being a tattoo artist.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Mabry of Benton; son, Trey Alan Mabry of Bradley; two stepchildren, Chris Shultz of Bradley and Stephanie Shultz of Chicago; mother, Patsy Mabry of St. Anne; three sisters, Lisa Gebo of Bradley, Karin Garcia of Kankakee and Cynthia Ryan and husband Patrick of Bradley; three brothers, Steven Mabry and wife Marianne of Christopher, Billy Mabry and wife Tricia of Texas and Brian Lethoit of Hurst; three aunts, Beverley Neal of Benton, Karen Foutch of Du Quoin and Donna Mabry of Benton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandmother, Wilma Mabry; maternal grandmother, Lucille Browning; brother-in-law, Ron Gebo; and two uncles, Buddy Mabry and Paul Neal.

Leffler Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
