Alan Odom, Downtown Benton, Inc., organization committee chair, has announced a new event for local residents.

“Women are invited to attend DBI Girls’ Night Out from 5 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12,” Odom said.

“The Fraternal Order of Eagles located at 201 E. Washington St. in Benton is graciously hosting the event,” he said. “This is a way to pamper women before the rush of the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.”

DBI executive director Sharon Pioveson said the price of admission includes a fashion show, free mini-manicures, mini-makeovers and much more.

“Ladies will receive makeup tips, free body massages, healthy cooking tips from a chef, and vendors will offer discounts on jewelry, purses, and spa products,” Pioveson said. “There will also be great deals on fitness packages, food and more. Prizes and silent auction items will be awarded. This is a great opportunity to get some great Christmas gifts for yourself and the other girls in your life. We expect this to be a lot of fun.”

Tickets are $20 per person and are available from Downtown Benton, Inc., Cato’s in West City, MidCountry Bank, Benton-West City Area Chamber of Commerce, Deadeye Printing, Benton Fitness Center and The Buzz. The deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, Nov. 9.

“Proceeds from the Downtown Benton, Inc., events are used to bring people to downtown Benton, and for the design and façade improvement program,” Pioveson said.
