A Christopher man, Darrell D. Grove, 46, was airlifted to a St. Louis-area hospital following an accident Monday involving an all-terrain vehicle.
Franklin County Sheriff Bill Wilson said deputies responded to the main street in Coello at 8:19 p.m. Monday.
“Mr. Grove lost control of the ATV he was riding, and it overturned on the roadway,” Wilson said.
Grove received extensive injuries and was cited for illegal operation of an ATV on a roadway, driving while license revoked and driving under the influence of alcohol.
