Jim and Jayna Hart of Benton would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Nicole, to Ben Kirkpatrick, son of Ed and Becky Kirkpatrick, of Valier.
Jenna is a 2004 graduate of Benton Consolidated High School and a graduate of Rend Lake College. She is currently attending Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville School of Pharmacy and will graduate in May of 2010. She is employed as a pharmacy intern at SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in St. Louis.
Ben is a 2002 graduate of Sesser-Valier High School and graduated from Rend Lake College with an associate’s degree. The groom-to-be attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., and is pursuing a degree in physical education. He is currently employed by Rend Lake College.
A May 16, 2009, wedding is planned at Whittington Baptist Church.
