A fundraiser has been set for Dennis Grammer of Mulkeytown.
Kandy Jones said Grammer is terminally ill and friends are hosting an event to help him pay medical expenses.
“Dennis was self-employed as a house painter with Grammer and Grammer House Painter and Stainers before he was misdiagnosed,” Jones said.”He has been given three months to live and we want to help him as much as possible.”
Jones said the fund-raiser will be Friday, Nov. 21, at Arnold’s Barbecue & More, 207 N. Main St., Royalton.
“There will be food, a pool tournament, karaoke, a dart toss and much more,” she said. “Events begin with a poker draw, with the first card being drawn at 6 p.m.
“A single-elimination pool tournament begins at 7 p.m., with a $5 entry fee,” Jones said. “The karaoke contest begins at 10 p.m. for a $5 entry fee. We will have donation boxes set up on the food tables and hope everyone will contribute to pay for their food. The dart toss also carries a $5 entry fee, with the winner receiving $10. Trophies will be awarded to winners of the pool tournament and the karaoke contest. The best and worst poker hands will also receive trophies.”
Grammer is friends of Franklin County ABATE and MRM.
