Murphy-Wall employees donate to Perry County Humane Society

The Perry County Humane Society has received a $500 donation raised through Murphy-Wall State Bank's 2019 Jean Day program.

The Perry County Humane Society is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue, with the purpose of promoting and providing the humane care and treatment of domestic animals in Perry County.

Murphy-Wall employees who want to wear jeans on Fridays authorize a payroll deduction each pay period. At the end of the year, a portion of the funds go to charitable organizations.

Murphy-Wall State Bank and Trust Company is an independent bank that has roots back to 1874, serving Pinckneyville, Murphysboro, Elkville and Carterville and Perry, Jackson and Williamson counties with a variety of services.
