State's Attorney Walker honored with Prosecutor Award

Randolph County State's Attorney Jeremy Walker was honored with the Prosecutor Award at the Southwestern Illinois Law Enforcement Commission and the Southern Illinois Police Chief's Association annual Awards Banquet held at the Sheraton Four Points in Fairview Heights on Jan. 23.

This award is given to a current or retired full-time State's Attorney, Assistant State's Attorney or Assistant U.S. Attorney from the Southern District of Illinois. Recipients of this award display loyalty, dependability and be a person of high moral and ethical standards.

Recipients must have demonstrated an awareness and sensitivity to the rights of victims.

State's Attorney Walker was nominated by the members of the Randolph County Police Association.
