MJHS robotics teams are state-bound

Members of four statebound robotics teams from Marion Junior High School jammed into City Council chambers at Marion City Hall on Monday night. Each of the members introduced themselves to Mayor Mike Absher and commissioners Jim Webb, John Stoecklin, John M. Barwick Jr. and Doug Patton. The teams, The Big Brains, Robo Rebels, Fire Crackers and rookie Team Unknown, are bound for Champaign-Urbana in January after winning at the Mount Vernon qualifier on Saturday.
