Cox courts voters in Benton

  • Courtney Cox spoke to the crowd gathered at the Benton Kiwanis Club Building recently, sharing with them why he was running for Second Circuit Judge in the March 2020 primary election. The rally was held by supporters of the popular Benton attorney, who is seeking office as a Republican. Cox rallies still scheduled for Franklin County will be held on Nov. 19 in West Frankfort at the Aquatic Center and on Nov. 21 in Thompsonville at the Thompsonville/Akin Village Hall. Each rally is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Cox faces Scott Quinn of Mt. Vernon and Matt Hartrich of Robinson in the Republican primary. There is no Democratic candidate.
