MARION -- One Marion restaurant plans to live up to its marketing motto -- literally -- this weekend as the nation celebrates Veterans Day.
Known for "bringing friends and family together" and committed to serving "any meal, any time," the Huddle House is offering a free order of sweet cakes, any variety, to all active duty, retired and veteran military members Nov. 8-11.
The offer is a "show of respect as well as an expression of thanks for the nation's active duty, retired, and veteran military members, many of whom have put their lives on the line to protect our country."
The offer is redeemable with proof of valid military ID.
