HARRISBURG -- The Illinois State Organization, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, District VII held their Spring meeting recently at Kokopelli's in Marion.

Illinois State Organization Regent Elect Sharla Luken and several of the state board chairmen were welcomed to southern Illinois on their state mini-tour.

Luken discussed her goals for her administration.

The main focus of her program was "Serving those who have served us."

She emphasized many activities we could be involve with in providing direct assistance to our veterans.
