Police continue to investigate the death of a local woman whose body was found last week in a mechanical device at the Carbondale Towers.
Police say they responded May 17 to the towers, located in the 800 block of West Mill Street, and subsequently recovered the body Kristin Duncan, 37, of Murphysboro. Police are releasing no further details, citing an ongoing investigation.
Duncan leaves behind four children, according to her obituary. Sercices will be held at a later date.
