CHS Sting staffers earn spot at state journalist contest

Three members of the Chester High School Sting staff advanced to the IHSA state journalism contest after placing second at the journalism sectional held April 13 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Chris Schwier, center, placed second in photo storytelling and Alison Venus, left, and Melody Colonel were second in the Video News category.
