Amanda Rhyne has been named the Employee of the Quarter for Memorial Hospital in Chester.
CEO Brett Bollmann made the announcement at a special reception on April 16.
Rhyne has worked at Memorial Hospital more than four years, and currently is the administrative assistant at the Rural Health Clinics. She has worked in several capacities at the hospital.
"I like the working environment of the clinic; everyone is always looking out for one another," Rhyne said.
"I like that I have a variety of duties and can help co-workers in other departments when needed. Most of all, I like my caring and friendly co-workers, without them none of this would be possible."
Her co-workers called Rhyne hardworking, always willing to help, and very friendly to everyone.
"She is our go to person when we need something because she is always right there for you!" one the nominations reads. "She truly cares for people and is always looking for ways to help improve the facility and the patient experience."
Rhyne lives in Perryville, Missouri with her husband, Johnny, and children Kylee and Tyler. When she isn't working she enjoys spending time with her family at youth sporting events, gardening and relaxing around the pool.
Rhyne received a personal plaque, cash prize and a parking spot of her choice for the next three months.
