Franklin Hospital in Benton has announced that Pediatric Group, LLC. and Dr. Amy Gerwe, MD have contracted with Franklin Hospital District to provide pediatric services in its Family Healthcare Clinic.
The clinic is a rural health care clinic that is owned and operated by Franklin Hospital to offer health care to Benton and the surrounding communities of Franklin County.
Gerwe is a pediatric physician who holds a doctorate from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Champaign/Peoria. Gerwe is a native of southern Illinois and currently resides here with her husband, Jeremy, and their three children. Gerwe did her training in combined internal medicine and pediatric residency at the University of Louisville and Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Gerwe will be seeing pediatric patients from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Monday. Scheduled appointments as well as walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment or for additional information, call 618-439-3161 ext. 685.
