About 25 volunteers braved 20 degree temperatures, wet, cloudy weather and a stiff breeze on Jan. 23 at the monthly Chester Area Christian Food Pantry Mobile Market outside the Cohen Sports Complex in Chester.

They served approximately 105 vouchers with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, baked goods and other items.

The Mobile Market is held the fourth Wednesday of each month and usually begins at 10 a.m. depending on when the truck arrives. The February distribution will take place on Feb. 27 at the Cohen Complex.

For February, the CACFP needs donations of toiletries like toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, shampoo and other personal care items.
