• Police conducted a traffic stop around 1 a.m. in the 200 block of East Smith Street. Upon investigating, police arrested Alden R. Howard, 30, of Benton on an active Hamilton County warrant for failure to appear. Howard was transported to the Franklin County Jail for further processing.
