Despite a sunny start, rain put a damper on the Senior Golf Tournament Sep. 6 at the Chester Country Club.
Skies were clear for the 9 a.m. start, but by 11:45 the sky opened up. After several minutes of rain, the horn blew and all headed for the club house about 12:20 p.m.
At 1:30 the tournament was officially called.
Scores were turned in for the first 9 holes. Results of the tournament are Championship: Mike Link, Diane Paquet, Jane Dick and Ken Stuckel; A Flight: Ron Nitzsche, Jeannie Kleinschmidt, Kathy Brown and Joe Severs; B Flight: Larry (V) Surman, Mary Long, Janet Vasquez and Russ Rader.
