Contestants sought for Williamson County Fair pageants

MARION -- The Williamson County Fair Board and Miss Williamson County Fair pageant director Tyra Hill are seeking contestants for the annual scholarship pageant set for 7 p.m. Aug. 6 at the fairgrounds, located on the east end of Marion. Contestants must be from counties that do not have their own queen pageant.

Contestants should be 16-21 years of age and be prepared to compete in the areas of private interview, swimwear, sportswear and evening gown and have a one-minute speech prepared. Entry fee for each participant is $100.

There will also be Junior Miss and Little Miss pageants at the fair. Junior Miss contestants range in age from 10-12. Entry fee is $75. Little Miss contestants include girls 5-7 years of age. Entry fee is $50.
