Freda E. Dillon, age 96, of LaGrange, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 19, 2018, after a severe case of pneumonia.
Freda was born in Ledford to the late Hugh and Ruby Cozart. On July 2, 1942, Freda married J.A. Dillon and he preceded her in death in 1992.
Freda taught school for 33 years. She also played the organ and piano for Dorrisville Social Brethren Church for 15 years.
She lived in LaGrange, Kentucky with her grandchildren for 15 years.
Granny is survived by her daughter Helen Dillon (the late Timothy B.) James and their son, Timmy.
She is also survived by her son Matt (Amy) Dillon, and their sons Nicholas, Elijah and Samuel, all of LaGrange, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her son, James D. Dillon, who died in 2003. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Olive Cozart Pickering. They were very close.
Services were held in LaGrange, Kentucky at Stoess Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held next summer. -- John 14:2&3
