GALLATIN COUNTY -- Gallatin County High School student David Matthews will represent GCHS and the state of Illinois at the Future Business Leaders of America national conference in Baltimore this June.

Matthews took first place in the spreadsheet event at the state FBLA conference in early April, winning the chance to compete in the national conference and competition.

For the first time, GCHS sent six FBLA members to compete in the state conference, held April 6-7 at Springfield.

In addition to Matthews, Madison Raymer took seventh place in Health Care Administration, Konner Gross took seventh in Intro to Information Technology and Kallie Keasler got sixth in Intro to Financial Math.
