After days of rain, the weather cooperated and the sun came out for the annual Easter egg hunt last Friday at Heritage Woods of Benton.
The hunt was divided into three age groups. About 130 children took part, scooping up plastic eggs filled with treats. One golden egg was hidden in each group with a lucky boy or girl receiving a prize for finding it.
The children also had a chance to win a giant Easter "basket" filled with candy and toys.
The winning ticket belonged to 5-year-old Harper, who planned to share her good fortune with her 2-year-old sister, Hayden.
Heritage Woods is located east of Franklin Hospital in Benton.
