MARION - Lincoln School fifth-grade student D'Antre Berry has been named "Student of the Week" in the Marion Unit 2 School District.
Instructor Ali Brotherton spoke highly of D'Antre.
"D'Antre is a diligent worker in his academic studies," Brotherton said. "He takes time to create extra notes in science class and is quick to offer assistance to a classmate if needed. He loves helping others."
Berry is a "Kiwanis Kid" at Lincoln and was active in the school's holiday food drive last December.
