Du Quoin Dental Dome has a new tenant

The Du Quoin Dental Dome has a new tenant.
Starting today, Christopher native Kasey Kirchner is practicing general dentistry at the unique geodesic dome office located at 502 S. Washington St. The office previously housed the practice of Otto Mares, whom Kirchner said was very helpful in helping her establish what will be her first practice.
Kirchner completed her studies at the SIU School of Dental Medicine, where she also completed her residency.
Kirchner said that with her education behind her, she is excited to be practicing not far from where she grew up.
"I just knew I wanted to be near my hometown," she said.
